Here is a cartoon image I created for Airbrush Action for their 20th Anniversary issue. Ya gotta love Da BIG 20.

Step 1

The first step is to get the image down. I do so with line work done with medium gray.

Here is the completed initial image.

Step 3

The next step is to start to add some color. I do so first by using golden yellow in the medallion. You can also see that I've done the initial line work for the lettering, also in medium gray.

Step 4

Here you can see that I've also finished off the rest of the body using golden yellow, light brown and flamingo pink.

Step 5

The background is next. Using brite blue I add some linear texture around the image as well as the lettering.

Step 6

The lettering is finished off by adding some flame work inside of it using brite red, fluorescent orange and golden yellow.

Step 7 

Here's the finished shirt. Notice the flames around the body as well to tie it into the lettering. Sweet.
